Waterbed Motion

When choosing a waterbed, you must also decide on which type of motion or you are looking for.

It is basically the same as choosing what type of firmness you want when you are purchasing a conventional mattress.

The waterbed mattress motion is basically categorized into three sections. The waveless waterbed mattress, the semi waveless waterbed mattress and the motion control mattress. Fibers are what is used inside the mattress to determine the amount of motion.

The waveless waterbed mattress is actually 95% and above. This means that you receive very little motion when you enter the bed and you do not typically sink down into it. The motion is quick to stop, which in turn will not affect or disturb anyone else that is in the bed.

The semi waveless waterbed is between 90-95% motionless. There is not a very big difference with this and the waveless waterbed mattress. However, other people in the bed might have a small amount of motion or disturbance.

The semi waveless waterbed is anything under 85%. These mattresses are soft and have Soft with excessive amounts of motion. Most people when they enter this mattress will sink to the bottom. It is also causes the most disturbances.
